meets bimonthly on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings from 6PM - 730PM in the Church Offices. Their focus is to discuss works that have a spirituality focus. Currently, their conversations are based on Joan Chittister's book, "Listen with the Heart: Sacred Moments in Everyday Life". This book is "an invitation to seek the sacred, appreciate the ups, learn from the downs, and make the mundane meaningful again." We meet in Pastor Ellen's office in the church from. has been meeting each Thursday from 10:00 am - 2:00 PM for the past thirty-seven years. Begun by our members, this program (now associated with City College) has discussion groups, interesting programs, music, singing, exercise and fellowship. Lunch is brown bag with coffee and dessert being provided.
Members of the congregation have been delivering nightly meals to persons with AIDS through Project Open Hand. Through our Deacons, we participate in Friendship Banquets providing meals to homeless men and women living with AIDS in the Tenderloin Neighborhood of San Francisco.
meets on the second Wednesday of each month @ 7:30 PM for study, fellowship, and prayer. This group is open to all women of the church providing a place of support, encouragement, fun and growth in faith.
receives requests from members and friends of the congregation who need prayer in their lives.
