The Rev. Ellen Rankin - Pastoral Associate

Ellen is a graduate of both the Masters of Divinity and the Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction programs at San Francisco Theological Seminary. She was ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament by the Redwoods Presbytery in February 2005 to serve as a Chaplain with Hospice of Marin as well as a Spiritual Director. Ellen has been associated with Seventh Avenue Church since September 2003; first as our Seminary Intern and now working in the capacity as our Pastoral Associate providing leadership to our Women's Spirituality Group along with pastoral care and liturgical leadership.

Ellen has lived in the North Bay with her beloved husband and two children for over twenty-five years. In that time, a dog, two birds, and three horses have been added to the family. The trails through the hills around their home, whether on foot with her dog, or on horseback are an endless source of peace and spiritual renewal for her.
